Verde: uno de mis pantones favoritos del MOMENTO. Decisión poderosamente influida por las últimas adquisiciones textiles (gracias Zara por estos momentos de disfrute genuino de shopping furtivo).

Zara y sus cristales

Del verde me gusta su carácter multitask. Es la riqueza de sus tonos, de sus sombras y de lo que los franceses llaman nuance (palabra bonita donde las haya, también en español: matices). Los trazos verdes son un placer cuando te los encuentras en la moda, en la calle, en el té o en los mercados callejeros.

Para mí es un concepto que va más allá del color y que transmite – más aún en estos instantes estivales recién estrenados- una fuerza visual que me conquista.

Al principio del año los agureros fashionistas aclamaron el verde como el color del año. El pantone más IN iba a ser esmeralda. Y digo iba –pasado imperfecto- porque este love statement se quedó en una declaración de intenciones. ¿Mi gozo en un pozo? Poco rastro del green encontramos en los escaparates y me ha costado rescatar las huellas de este 50 shades of green.

Este es un homenaje al green pantone lost in translation. Y pensar que podíamos haber sido tan felices juntos…

At the beginning of the year many claimed green as the color of the year. Green Emerald was supposed to be the most fashionable pantone to wear and live. Here we go with ‘past tense’ detail: this green love statement has not survived. I don´t easily find the green pantone when shopping and this 50 shades of green you´ve been walking through has been a true longtime search.
